Second we use only 8x8x16 concrete blocks to build the island. This makes a more sturdy island and gives it a better shape. We can curve the island and add tables, fire pits and fireplaces to it and even a built in Bar with a kegerator. After the block is up we fill the blocks with cement to make sure the island is there to stay for many years to come. We finish it up with your choice of color stucco and add a few light recipicles and your ready to start grilling.
