The stain comes in a few different colors. Acid stain is different from any other product for the simple fact that no two jobs will ever be the exact same. Since the acid reacts differently to every slab of concrete due to variations of lime, paste and other ingredients the colors tones are shades are one of a kind. We usually use 2 different colors when apply the stain such as a light color for the base and a darker one lightly sprayed on top to give it more color depth. Once this is all done we seal the stained concrete with a polyurethane to give it a finished look. This product does not need to be resealed unless in direct sunlight. In that case the polyurethane will bake off and need to be applied every forth summer. a Small price to pay for such a beautiful home addition.
